Standard Approaches For Effective Hydrogen (SAFEH2)™

SAFEH2™ is a very comprehensive study of hydrogen issues and consists of 17 learning modules that provide the principles and techniques for personal, public, system, process, and facility safety when using hydrogen.  The course builds from the "basics" of hydrogen properties, potential hazards, and proven control techniques to specific issues associated with fuel cells, facility design and operations, elements of hazards analysis, process monitoring, and risk management strategies.  The course fee is $1,000.00 US.

H2andYOU™

H2andYOU™ is specifically designed for those who find themselves in and around hydrogen in the “everyday” workplace on more than an occasional basis  – firefighters, lab technicians, delivery vehicle drivers, maintenance personnel, and more.   H2andYOU™ zeros in on what you need to know to act and be safe.  Its “to – the - point discussions focus on proper handling and transport, common sense safety precautions, when and where hydrogen accidents happens, how and why hydrogen ignites and explodes, and appropriate emergency response.  The course fee is $495.00 US.

How to enroll in a Course

We know there are other providers so we appreciate your consideration for enrolling in our on-line hydrogen safety training programs.  We have structured the programs to be extremely user friendly.

To initiate the registration process, please use this link: http://www.hydrogensafety.com/courses.cfm.  Once you click on any of the programs listed, you will be brought to the registration form.  Upon registering, the student receives a password, which grants access to the course for 30 days although that period can be extended upon request if the student needs more time to complete their studies.  The student has complete access to the course during that period, no restriction on the number of visits. Since the course is asynchronous, there is no time limitation imposed and you can begin the course at any time during the month. 

A mentor from our staff is also assigned to the student to assist in their studies.  Typically the mentor will respond to any questions from the built-in email system within 24 hours.
