HS has served in several capacities within project development and project management.  In all cases, its knowledge and experience with working with hydrogen in various applications makes its consulting service of high value to its clients.  Some specific functions that are hydrogen related include:

• As the Owner’s Engineer:
• Developed hydrogen related equipment specifications
• Evaluated equipment quotes
• Ensured Codes & Standards are being met with the proposed design.
• Inspected work prior to operation to verify all subsystems are properly installed and working as designed.
• Interfaced with local permitting officials by building a strong case for the station design.
• Provided safety training of operating and supervising personnel
• As Project Developer:
• Conducted awareness discussions to gain public and political support for the project.
• Submitted applications to government agencies to obtain funding.
• Formed consortiums of stakeholders to design, build, and operate the power facility.
• Obtained all necessary permits and approvals for siting and construction.
• Negotiated all subcontracts with equipment and service providers.
• As Project Manager:
• Provide required design and construction oversight.
• Exercise proper control over project costs and schedule.
• Furnish conflict resolution whenever required.
• Routinely informed owner of progress and issues.
• Conduct performance acceptance testing to procedures developed for the project.
