Hydrogen
Safety, LLC has assembled what we believe to be the premier training
experience on hydrogen safety. Our Standard Approaches For Effective
Hydrogen (SAFEH2) industrial training curricula provides sound hydrogen
practices and techniques emphasizing personal and team-based "situational
awareness" in the generation, use, storage, and transport of
hydrogen.
Course materials are based on the NASA Safety Standard for Hydrogen
and Hydrogen Systems (NSS 1740.16), the ISO Technical Report "Basic
Considerations For The Safety of Hydrogen Systems" (ISO/PDTR
15916), and best industry practices. The curricula is highly modular
and includes a core program of "essentials" for safe hydrogen
as well as more specialized topics to meet customer-specific needs.
HS Principal Stephen Woods, a lead developer of the NASA Hydrogen
Standard and author of the new ISO report, serves as our primary instructor.
HS provides the curriculum to groups of 20 or more at their home site.
We select a minimum of two instructors for each training program from
our training team based on the needs of the student group. We also
provide a workbook of all materials for each student. The cost is
$1000 per student for the full two-day, 17-module training program,
plus travel expenses for the instructors. An optional one-day curriculum
on "the basics" of hydrogen and hydrogen safety what
we call our Core Program is also available. Cost per student
is negotiated given the number of students attending (minimum of 20
attendees).
Now Accepting Reservations: Web-Based, Interactive SAFEH2 Distance Learning Curriculum
At the request of our customers, HS has now made the SAFEH2 program
available via the Internet as a highly interactive distance learning
curriculum. Students can log in and work their way through the training
at their pace and convenience. HS instructors will be available to
answer questions through a chat page. The cost will also be $1000
per student, with registration through this site.
The SAFEH2 Distance Learning Curriculum is now accepting reservations. See the SafeH2 Training page for more information on registering. NEXT>>
